I decided to try something new because I have so many of things that I love to share with you all! So a few Fridays a month I will share 5 of my favorites. Whether it’s skincare, makeup, hair care, clothing- old and new.
I have so many good things for you coming up!! First I’ll share one of my newest absolute favorites…
These incredible drops are special tanning drops for your face. You add them into whatever moisturizer you are using. Depending on how dark you want to be is how many drops you will use. I usually use about 3-4 drops every two days to keep up a good basic tan.
I found this gem at Ulta. It was a tad pricey at $50, but you don’t use much of it so I think it’s going to last a long time. And I have noticed a big difference in how well my skin has reacted to these as opposed to using my usual tanning foam on my face. My pores definitely like this better!
If you use tanning lotions/foams frequently, this is an absolute must!
Speaking of skin care and moisturizer… Have you heard of Beauty Counter?!? I just recently was introduced to them as a company, and I’m impressed. They are trying to keep their product ingredients at a minimum and trying to give you the best they can.
A fellow bad ass mama and Rensselaer-ian reached out to me to see if I would be interested in trying the products. Of course I did some research on Instagram and Pinterest to see if I could find anything out. And after some digging I decided to give it a try.
I ordered a smaller sample size kit and a full sized nighttime cream. Let me tell you that the cleanser is absolutely incredible. And when you pair them with the oil and moisturizer you’ve got quite the team.
If you need a representative to help message me and I’ll get you in touch with my girl!
Next up… hair texturizing spray! Now if your anything like me then you don’t like silky smooth hair. I like to have a little grit to my hair something that will help hold the curls or the waves I put in it. Before I always used dry shampoo, but I recently came across this gem! And I love it. Right after I wash my hair and dry it, I use some of this spray.
Especially after a day or two this stuff becomes even better. I still do use dry shampoo at night. Basically covering my hair turning it white is how I do the whole dry shampoo thing. This is a great alternative or addition to your hair care routine!
Skeptical: that’s basically what I was when I saw this. But it really works nice. After a day I spray this on my ends to keep them hydrated. It acts like a dry shampoo the way that it goes on, but leaves your ends feeling smoother than before. So far I have only used it a handful of times but I will say so far I really like it.
They do have other products with this line at Walgreens. Next up I want to try their dry shampoo and see how it is!
And last but now least… Drip Drop has become a new addition to my everyday. I’m the type of person who doesn’t drink a lot of water. Some days I don’t drink any water at all, so I get easily dehydrated.
Well I’m actively trying to change that! And I saw these online and figured I’d give them a shot. So far so good. I drink at least one a day. It will take a little while for my body to adjust but I know after a bit my skin and my hair will love me for drinking more water. This is just giving me that boost I need. Having that extra flavor in the water helps it not be so boring!
Hydration is vital to overall skin, hair, and general health! Here’s to hoping this is pushing me in the right direction!!
So, there’s the first set of Friday Favorites!
Maybe you guys can take away 1 or more products and add them to your arsenal! If you do and love them or even if you hate them let me know.
Can’t wait to do another one of these 😊
